Biography
Linda is a Project Manager with HMA Land Services Ltd. and holds a Bachelor of Science (Soils) degree from the University of Alberta and a Cartography Diploma from Camosun College.
Linda began her career in the oil and gas industry as a soil specialist the NOVA Gas Transmission Division and over the years held several positions including Environmental Planner, Environmental Regulatory Analyst and Manager. Following the Nova / TransCanada PipeLines Limited merger, Linda managed the team responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental standards suitable for the merged company's business environment and was instrumental in providing independent technical leadership for the purpose of defining an Environment, Health and Safety Management System. In 2000, Linda joined the National Energy Board offering her auditing, environmental and management system knowledge and applying it within the public service sector.
Linda joined HMA in 2008 as a Project Manager where she provides senior technical leadership for the development and implementation of capital projects and operational, environmental and safety programs. Linda is currently managing the development and submission of the environmental and land aspects for an application to the National Energy Board for a major pipeline project. Linda is also directly responsible for developing, documenting and implementing the first COR certified safety, health and environmental program for a land services company.
