Biography
Kelly has 13 years experience in Human Resources with a passion for life-long learning, coaching, and employee development. She has a proven track record of implementing and marketing strategic Employee Development, Training, and HR programs promoting optimal organizational and individual effectiveness.
She is a Certified Human Resources Professional (C.H.R.P.), and she has worked in several industries such as technology, satellite communications, environmental consulting, geophysical services, the electric system operator, insurance, and health care. She worked as a Recruiting Specialist with Bell ExpressVu and Wi-LAN, where she was responsible for high-volume recruitment, implementing strategic recruitment practices and HR planning. She worked as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Golder Associates, CGGVeritas, the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO), and SMART Technologies. Prior to her career in HR, she worked as a personal fitness trainer on a part-time basis for 10 years through high school and her post-secondary studies.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Sociology (Life Sciences) from the University of Toronto, and a Human Resources Post-Diploma from Seneca College (Toronto). She is currently working towards her Adult Learning Certificate from the University of Calgary, and has plans to pursue coaching certification that is accredited through the International Coach Federation.
