Paul Anderson, President

Paul Anderson joined HMA Land Services in March 2008 as President. Paul comes to HMA from Alliance Pipeline where he held a number of positions over a period of 10 years while taking Alliance through the regulatory and permitting phases through construction and operations. Over the course of his tenure at Alliance, Paul was responsible for the Environment, Land, Communications, Public, Government and Regulatory Affairs departments. Prior to his work at Alliance, Paul worked for many years as an Environmental Consultant.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biology from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Science in Watershed Ecosystems from Trent University and a Management Certificate from the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business.

Dan Hushion, Chief Executive Officer

Dan has been an active rights-of-way professional for more than 15 years, and is a respected member of the energy industry. Prior to the inception of HMA, Dan spent 10 years at NOVA Gas Transmission managing the development and implementation of land- and community-related programs for major energy initiatives. In 1996, Dan joined Alliance Pipeline Ltd. as the manager of Lands and Rights-of-Way where he had responsibility for all aspects of the lands and rights-of-way programs in Canada and the United States. Dan has extensive knowledge and a solid foundation in land management, earning him a reputation as an industry leader. Dan leads the HMA team with client satisfaction top of mind.

Dan attended Gonzaga University and graduated from University of Calgary. He is a member of the International Right of Way Association, is a past Chapter and Region Executive and a past recipient of the Frank C. Balfour Professional of the Year Award.

Miles McCall , Executive Vice President

Miles brings a wealth of land management experience, borne out of 36 years of progressive responsibility in the field. His accomplishments and excellent reputation result from continuous training, volunteer commitments on many industry boards and committees, and quality work in the field. When it comes to dealing with unique project challenges Miles is an innovator. As such, he was instrumental in developing inter-provincial, international and First Nations land acquisition programs. Few industry professionals can match his knowledge and experience so you can rest assured that your land services requirements will be handled skillfully by Miles and team.

Miles graduated from Vermilion Ag College. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen and the International Right of Way Association. He has served on the provincial Land Agents Advisory Committee, responsible for making provincial legislative recommendations.

Keith Turner, Project Manager

Keith brings over 10 years of land experience to the HMA team. Keith made his start in the oil and gas sector in 1999 with Koch Pipelines Canada, and then onto Inter Pipeline Fund where he worked towards and received his land agent's license, finally working at Pembina Pipeline Corporation before joining HMA. Keith has extensive experience with Directive 56 procedures, as well with well site and pipeline acquisitions and other land related activities. Keith stays current with industry practices by sitting on the executive of he IRWA.

Keith is a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen, and the International Right of Way Association.
